Gimme 5 For Education

Post Date: November 09, 2015 Categories: Donations, Programs, Fundraiser

2016 marks the 10th year for the Paulding Education Foundation. The Foundation has historically raised money through special events and fostering key relationships with our corporate partners. This has allowed us to grow to where we are today and it is thrilling to know that we have been able to give out over 40 scholarships and 15 school/department grants in just the past two years.

Did you know that the foundation gives out more money per capita than our neighboring education foundations?

But, we still have a significant gap in what we have been able to give out, and the number of request we see each year. We see over $82,000 in school grant requests and over $130,000 in scholarship requests each year. It is our mission to fund as many of these requests as we can and that is why we are asking for your help.

This year our District is participating in the "Gimme 5 for Education" campaign in support of the Paulding Education Foundation! Each school is looking to raise $3,000 between now and December 15th. Every dollar raised will help move us closer to our goal AND as a thank you, every student who donates at least $10 will be entered into a school-wide drawing to win 2 movie tickets!

Join us in our mission to provide unparalleled opportunities for our students in Paulding County. Give a high five to education! Please show your support by returning the attached form with your tax-deductible contribution to the school no later than December 20th.

The Paulding Education Foundation is the only non-profit organization that supports all schools, staff & students in the Paulding County School District. All funds collected will directly benefit our schools through Foundation supported scholarships, grants, and programs for our schools, staff & students.

Thank you in advance for your support!
