GA Power awarded $2,000 to Paulding Education Foundation. John Sell, Area Manager of GA Power presented the Paulding Education Foundation with a check for $2000.00 to support Paulding County Schools on January 12, 2016. The check was received by Jim McMichen, Executive Director of PEF; Cliff Cole, Paulding County School District Superintendent; Karen Vines, Paulding County High School Secretary.

Congratulations to the Paulding County School District Teachers, and Employees of the Year. Recipients were announced on March 16, 2015, the District TOTY Winner was announced on May 12, 2015 at West Ridge Church.

The Paulding County School District Human Resources Department is pleased to announce award recipients for the 2015 PCSD Employee of the Year.
This program highlights contributions of non-teaching school employees who support the education of our students in preschool through grade twelve. The overall purpose of the program is to pay tribute to the tireless efforts of our District’s outstanding school employees who are not eligible for recognition as a Teacher of the Year (TOTY). These employees are vital staff members who play key roles in creating a district and school environment that promotes our District’s vision and mission. The program's goal is to identify and honor exemplary employees throughout the District.

Congratulations to the 2014 Paulding County School District Teachers of the Year 2014!
Paulding Education Foundation is seeking sponsors to contribute gifts and sponsorship for the annual Teacher of the Year award ceremony. The celebration will occur on Tuesday, May 7, 2014 at the West Ridge Church from 11-1 pm. The foundation will host a luncheon celebration for the teachers of the year from the district's 33 schools, and the district's Teacher of the Year award will be presented as part of the luncheon. The foundation is a nonprofit which raises funds for scholarships and grants for the district.

The Paulding Education Foundation is thankful to the business community for their help in raising $10,000 with the success of the inaugural MembersFirst Credit Union Autumn Golf Classic held on October 15, 2012 at Creekside Golf Course. The funds raised go to programs that benefit students in Paulding County, including $15,000 in college scholarships and $7,500 in school grants.
The tournament featured a chance to win $10,000 in a putting contest. Two golfers qualified for the putt, but the hole was narrowly missed when it came down to the final putt. The winning tournament team was sponsored by Education Planners and included James Wilson, Jordan Wilson, Tom Price and Dexter Mills. Second place was sponsored by Wellstar and included Zac Rhinesmith, Austin Renfoe and Jessica Bedsole. The third place team was sponsored by Raker Construction and included John Rakestraw and Jake Rakestraw. Winner of the Closest to the Pin award was James Wilson and Longest Drive was won by Zac Rhinesmith.
The presenting sponsor was MembersFirst Credit Union. Other major sponsors included Greystone Power, RK Redding, Wellstar, Partitions Contractors, Credit Union of Georgia, Raker Construction, Carl Black, Education Planners, Morgan Keegan, Herff Jones, Carroll EMC and Zaxby's.
Volunteers were provided by the Paulding PTA Council, Wellstar and other community members. Participants enjoyed a steak and ribs lunch catered by Rodney's BBQ as the awards were presented.
DC Bank awarded $1,000 to Paulding Education Foundation. Caric Martin, Senior Vice President of DC Bank presented the Paulding Education Foundation(PEF) with a check for $1,000.00 to support Paulding County Schools on Thursday, September 6 before the Paulding Chamber Luncheon. The check was received by Amy Mollohan, Executive Director of PEF; Jim Ashworth, Chairman of PEF and Cliff Cole, Paulding County School District Superintendent.
Bucky Kimsey of Raymond James Morgan Keegan presented a $500.00 check to Paulding Education Foundation at the school board office on August 24th.
